"Pews to Polls" is a program from Citizens for Traditional Values. This initiative promotes the importance of responsible Christian citizenship in strategic churches and locations throughout Michigan through church members who are passionate about civil issues. We call these volunteers “Church Liaisons.”

An Election Inspector performs election work for the local municipality or throughout the state. This is a paid position. There are different types of election inspectors, along with various days/times of shifts, depending on the size of the local population.
Training is required to become an election inspector.
Poll Challengers are volunteers that observe and report potential issues which may arise at polling locations and ballot tabulation centers. Poll Workers play an official role in administering the election at the precinct level.
Training is required to become a poll challenger.
